The Booster Club of St. Mary of Gostyn

  1. The Booster Club of St. Mary of Gostyn Advisory Committee will consist of 5 members plus School Principal or defined representative

  2. The Booster Club of SMG Advisory Committee will meet at least quarterly or as events require. Scheduled meetings will be posted on website.

  3. Will work as an independent group recognized by school
    What this means:
    - Listed on the SMG school website

    -
Utilize the school’s non-profit status for purchases
    - work in partnership so as to not conflict with existing activities

  4. The Booster Club would sponsor a variety of events to raise funds to purchase “wish list” items. Examples of these events may include sports-related activities, various social events and other initiatives developed throughout the year. These events and their timing will be coordinated with the School Principal so as to not create conflict for existing activities / events.

Have initially targeted 4 activities for the 2006-2007 school year:
     - Superbowl Event
     - NCAA Event
     - 40 / $100 Challenge Event
     - Year end thank you event
(not meant to make money but as a way of thanks and camaraderie)

  5. SMG Wish List
Approved wish List Items will be maintained on The Booster Club web site (
www.theboosterclub.org). Items recommended for the wish list can be submitted to The Booster Club Advisory Committee, School Principal, and the Athletic Director for consideration. The Booster Club Advisory Committee, with input from the community, would work with the SMG School Principal to determine the best way to utilize its resources to enrich student’s educational experience. The SMG School Principal will have the ability to prioritize and specifically reject any item.

  6. Administrative Stuff
    a
) At the end of each year any remaining monies will be deposited in an interest bearing fund setup with the parish for future SMG school needs
    b) Full listing of costs, purchases, monies received, and money available will be made available for all to review via www.theboosterclub.org

    c) Representative(s) of The Booster Club Advisory Committee may be requested to attend SAB meetings
