The Booster Club
of St. Mary of Gostyn Mission:
Provide discretionary financial support for the
current and future needs of St. Mary of Gostyn School to promote sports and
extra-curricular development by contributing additional resources to the
athletic department and volunteers dedicated to this task, while promoting a
sense of community through sponsored events and various fund raising
initiatives.

FootballMania 2007
FootballMania sweepstakes are exciting
and engaging for the people who receive a sweepstakes ticket because winning
tickets are determined in a unique way. Each ticket is completely random and has
an equal chance of winning based on the points scored and yards gained by the
football teams randomly assigned to it. Contact any Booster
Club member for more details!!

2006-2007
Goals
Ø
Establish the
Booster Club of St. Mary of Gostyn as a recognized school group open to all
parishioners
Ø
Maintain an open
program and communication of all activities via website
Ø
Develop budgeting
plan for yearly school sports expenses that we could support
Ø
Recruit
participation from non-SMG parties. Goal is >50% of all funds come from non-SMG
school families
Ø
Quarterly
meetings open to all to be held in the school gymnasium for anyone
interested in participating or supporting these efforts
Ø
Develop ongoing
dialogue and discussions with School administration and awareness for pastor
Ø
Develop a
financial approach which can begin to offset increasing costs for sports at SMG
Ø
Build a Booster
Club for today and the future – designed for growth in responsibility and
support
Ø
Target raising
$10000 in 2006-2007 to begin supporting acquisition of sports related items or
other items needed in the school
